A Tatted Flower / Flor de frivolité

Second try to post something today. The first one had turned out rather nice but this silly computer has been a nuisance for the last few weeks: as slow as hell, it takes about 10 minutes to start; I may have to wait for two or three minutes before any programmes wake up and, then, they collapse. That's what happened to my web browser when I had just finished my previous post a few hours ago. I cannot write the same things again and my mood has changed. :(

Anyway, this week has been dull and so is next week expected to be. Little time to knit and finish projects I am no longer interested in because I want to start something new. I still have some winter patterns in mind although I know the time is coming for summer knitting.

In order to keep my mind off all this and this ugly cold weather, I have taken my shuttles and done a little exercise to brush up the tatting I taught myself last summer and which had lain abandoned most of the autumn and winter. Result: a tatted flower with pattern improvised on the fly. Here is the photo.



SP Segundo intento de subir algo hoy. El primer post me había quedado bastante majo, pero este ordenador de la pera lleva ya varias semanas siendo un auténtico dolor: más lento que el demonio, le lleva unos diez minutos arrancar, y tengo que esperar por lo menos un par de minutos más hasta que a algún programa le da por empezar y, después ... se para. Eso es lo que le ha pasado al navegador hace un rato, justo cuando acababa el post anterior. Ahora, no puedo volver a escribir lo mismo, no tengo el mismo humor. :(

De todas formas esta semana ha sido aburrida como también parece que será la próxima. Poco tiempo para tejer y acabar alguna labor que ha dejado de interesarme ya que quisiera empezar algo nuevo. Todavía estoy pensando en alguna prenda de invierno aunque sé que va llegando la hora de empezar las labores de verano.

Para olvidarme un poco de todo eso y de este tiempo tan frío, he sacado las lanzaderas para refrescar el frivolité que aprendí en el verano y que había abandonado casi todo el otoño e invierno. Resultado: una flor de frivolité improvisada sobre la marcha. Envío foto.
