Curly scarf ...

Here is a pic of Sofia´s cardigan. It is worked in seed and stockinette stitches. The back and one front are finished. This is the left front after frogging when it had reached almost its two thirds. Why? I start with 3 1/2 mm needles and then I change to 4 mm needles. While knitting, I noticed something different between this front and the other but could not say exactly what until I realized I had been working with 4 1/2mm needles. Stupid me!




I am also posting a picture of my last achievement: crocheted boa, also called ruffled scarf or spiral scarf on the net. Because I love the look of it, I have signed up for the curlywhirlies KAL --I don't know whether I have been accepted yet. Don't ask me about the yarn. I used some leftovers of I-dont-know-what. It's cent per cent acrylic but looks like mohair. I am not very sure about how well it will wash.




SP Al fin una foto de parte de la chaqueta para Sofía. Los elásticos son de punto de arroz y el resto, punto jersey. Ya he terminado la espalda y un delantero. Este es el delantero izquierdo después de haber tenido que deshacer casi dos tercios. Comienzo los elásticos con agujas del tres y medio y después sigo a punto jersey con el cuatro. Notaba algo diferente en este delantero a medida que iba tejiendo pero no sabía qué. Hasta que me dí cuenta: estaba usando agujas del cuatro y medio. ¡Tonta de mí!

La otra foto es mi último logro: una boa de ganchillo (ruffled o curly scarf en internet). Se hace de punto bajo y después un par de vueltas a medio punto. Me gusta cómo han quedado los 'rizos' y por eso me he apuntdado al 'curlywhirlies KAL', aunque todavía no sé si me han admitido. No me preguntéis qué lana he usado; son unos restos que había por casa, cien por cien acrílico:( pero parece mohair. Tengo mis serias dudas de cómo quedará después de lavada ...
